Hi there my name is Elizabeth Lozano, I’m a Clinical Professional Counselor.

I’m passionate about sparking meaningful change in people’s lives and relationships. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where you can explore the deeper factors contributing to your challenges, re-process past experiences, and begin shaping a future that feels authentic and fulfilling.

I support individuals in understanding their past and recognizing patterns they may not have noticed before, helping them feel more in control of their emotions and genuinely hopeful about what lies ahead.

My approach to therapy is integrative and humanistic, meaning I draw from a variety of evidence-based methods to tailor each session to your unique needs. We’ll explore both the positive and painful moments of your past and present to build insight, resilience, and lasting emotional strength.

I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, helping them develop clarity, confidence, and self-compassion. Together, we’ll identify what you truly want for your life and support you in becoming the person you’re meant to be.

Mary Evans-Davis, LMFT

I was originally a lawyer. While representing a client during a domestic case, I began to feel that the legal world sometimes made things worse for families instead of better. I decided I wanted to get another degree so that I could better help people and especially families. Having decided I wanted to be a therapist I examined all the possible therapy degrees and chose marriage and family therapy because of its systemic view of the world. This discipline doesn’t blame people for their mental health issues but realizes those issues are partially related to the environment, families, and groups they are part of as well as the experiences they have had and their genetics.

After receiving my Masters at BYU; where I had the opportunity to work in the BYU comprehensive clinic seeing families, couples, and individuals; I took a few years off to raise my children. Once both children were in full-time school, I went back to work. I have been a licensed MFT since 2013. I have worked with pre-teens, teenagers and adults. I have especially enjoyed working with people struggling with anxiety, depression, and couples’ issues such as communication. I originally started using cognitive behavioral therapy but have grown to believe that there are many ways to support and encourage change and each client requires a unique treatment method tailored to them.

I love the privilege of helping people minimize and carry their pain. I believe in homework, and practice between sessions. I believe in rituals and making the intangible tangible.

Dawn Wisbey, CPC-Intern

Hi! My name is Dawn Wisbey, and I am a Clinical Professional Counselor – Intern, providing therapy both in-office and via telehealth. I enjoy working with clients of all ages, from adolescents to adults in all stages of life.

Before embarking on my journey as a counselor, I had a successful career in Human Resources at a financial institution in London. Although I valued my corporate experience, it was during this time that I discovered my passion for helping people navigate difficult moments in their lives. This realization led me to pursue a career that aligned more closely with this calling.

I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in counseling psychology from Framingham State University in Massachusetts before relocating to Nevada. Throughout my studies, my enthusiasm for therapeutic work grew, and I continue to value the importance of the work we do together as therapist and client. Since the summer of 2023, I have been proud to work with Elements of Motivation, using my training, knowledge, and life experiences to support my clients in overcoming life’s challenges.

I believe that effective therapeutic work begins with a respectful and committed relationship between therapist and client. My goal is to meet clients where they are and provide the support they need during each session. I integrate various therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy, to best serve my clients.

Originally from England, I have lived in the United States for 17 years. I have been married to my husband for 26 years, and we have two adult children. Our playful sheep-a-doodle, Winston, keeps us active and entertained. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy hiking with my family, cooking, practicing yoga and Pilates, and exploring new cultures through travel. I am dedicated to continuous learning and personal growth, always striving to be the best version of myself both personally and professionally.

Alicia Maestas, LMFT-Intern

She is affirming of individuals of all ages, races, sexual orientations, and genders. Alicia provides a safe and welcoming space where your voice is heard with respect and a nonjudgmental approach.

She considers it an honor to be a part of your journey. Together with Alicia, you can explore any areas you wish, knowing that a supportive therapeutic relationship can help us become more accepting of ourselves. This acceptance often leads to greater awareness and knowledge of self, decreased anxiety, and increased life and relationship satisfaction.

Alicia graduated with her masters in marriage and family therapy from Capella University in May of 2023. She is now pursuing her doctorate degree in clinical psychology. When she isn't studying, she enjoys indoor cycling, Pilates, live music, and going to coffee shops.

Asia Bieniemy, CPC-Intern

“To heal is to touch with love that which we previously touched with fear”- Stephen Levine

In my opinion, counseling should always start and conclude with kindness and a willingness to walk alongside a client through their experience. I feel that I have a genuine listening heart and a desire to see people find and live in peace and joy, which is why I entered this field. In general, regardless of a person's challenges or personal circumstances, I view every person as a distinct individual deserving of unconditional acceptance.

I am a Clinical Professional Counselor-Intern. My experience in the mental and behavioral health field includes working with higher level of care foster youth and addictions. I also have experience in rapid rehousing and case management for individuals facing homelessness. I obtained my bachelors degree from University of Nevada, Las Vegas in Sociology in 2018 and continued my education at Grand Canyon University gaining a masters of science in clinical mental health in 2024.

My current areas of clinical interest include anxiety, depression, and trauma. I take a client centered approach and utilize modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. In my work as a counselor, my goal is to provide my clients with the tools they need to connect to themselves, their feelings and experiences from the past and present, so they may decide how to move forward with finding healing. I also strive to establish a connection with my clients and assist them in finding joy during their recovery process.

Some of my hobbies and personal interests include sound bowl healing, gardening with my husband, caring for my plants, painting, spending time with friends and loved ones, and traveling.

Danette "Desiree" Turner, CSW-Intern

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and a new CSW-I with a strong commitment to ethical, trauma-informed clinical practice. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Services from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with minors in Problem Compulsive Gambling and Addictions Prevention, in May 2023. I completed my Master of Social Work at Walden University in November 2025.

My professional background is deeply shaped by military service. I joined the United States Navy in 2001 and have served in multiple military components over the years. I am a combat veteran and currently serve in a medical unit within the Army Reserves here in Las Vegas. This experience has strengthened my clinical approach through the values of loyalty, duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage.

My clinical interests include working with children, adolescents, and young adults, as I believe children are our future and deserve early, compassionate intervention. I also work with individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, substance misuse, and life transitions. I chose to become a mental health professional to better understand substance use disorders after losing several important family members to addiction. This experience informs my empathy and nonjudgmental approach.

My therapeutic style is client-centered, strengths-based, and collaborative in nature. I utilize evidence-based interventions, including trauma-informed care and cognitive-behavioral strategies, to help clients build insight, coping skills, and resilience. What I value most about this work is the trust clients place in me during vulnerable moments and the opportunity to support them with genuine care and respect.
