Krishonda Wright is a vibrant and dedicated rehabilitative mental health provider. Originally from Oakland, CA, she is happily married to her high school sweetheart and is a proud mother of three wonderful children—two boys and one girl, ages 12-16. Their family wouldn’t be complete without their dog, Bay, who’s named after their beloved Bay Area and is a true Golden State Warriors fan.
Her family made the big move to Vegas in 2013. Soon after, Krishonda attended the College of Southern Nevada, where she graduated with an AA in Psychology, boasting a 3.9 GPA. She made the Dean's List for three consecutive years and is a proud member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. After taking some time off to raise her children, she was accepted into the University of Las Vegas Nevada. She’s now majoring in Psychology with a minor in Counseling and is less than a year away from earning her BA.
Krishonda is excited to further her education by entering a Master's program in Family Therapy to become an LMFT. She has a special knack for working with teens and young adults—“I was told I speak teen,” she says—but she’s available to help anyone in need. With her spiritual, caring, and non-judgmental nature, combined with a great sense of humor (“I’ve got not just one funny bone but two!”), Krishonda finds it a humbling and blessed experience to work with people from all walks of life, providing a helping hand where it’s needed most.
Peace & Blessings
Hello, my name is Amy King, and I have been a Basic Skills Trainer (BST) for about four years.
My journey into this role stems from a deep-seated desire to help others. Having been sober for eight years, I understand firsthand the challenges that lead individuals to seek support. This personal experience fuels my passion for giving back. In my daily practice, I utilize the tools that have helped me—coping strategies, patience, and thoughtful reflection.
I believe in pausing and thinking things through, which allows me to effectively strategize and support those I work with. As a problem solver and solution seeker, my goal is to provide the same level of support and guidance that helped me, ensuring that others have the resources they need to thrive. This is my way of giving back, and I am dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of those I assist.
